Missing Notts Teenager

Police are urging a 13-year-old girl to contact them after she left home on New Year’s Day.

Rose Howard, who lives with her mother in South Street, Eastwood, left home at around 11am on Saturday 1 January and has not seen or contacted her mother since.

Rose, who is 5ft 5in tall and has long brown hair with blonde roots, was wearing a grey and black checked coat, a grey top and dark trousers at the time.

She was seen in the Chilwell area at around 2pm yesterday afternoon (Monday 3 January), when one of her friends spoke to her.

PC Paul Shortt said: “We’d really like Rose to contact us or her mother to let us know that she is safe and well. We think she may be staying with friends and are asking anyone who knows where she is to contact us.”

Anyone who has seen Rose, or who has any information about where she is, should call PC 3255 Paul Shortt at Beeston Police Station on 0300 300 9999 ext 812 5677.
