Summer concert season is here and Clumber Park is hosting Flashback to the 80’s!

On Friday 20th August, you can go reminisce with Rick Astley, ABC, T’Pau, Go West and Toyah!

Come and join us Flashback to the coolest decade in pop music, bring your picnic with you to Clumber Park and enjoy our fabulous line up of 80s sensations...

Rick Astley
Rick was one of the best selling artists of the eighties with songs such as ‘Never going to give you up’, ‘Cry For Help’ and ‘She Wants To Dance With Me’ Rick Astley dominated the charts throughout the 80s outselling other artists with several No.1 hits in the UK, USA and Europe.

ABC
'The Lexicon Of Love' was one of the biggest albums of the eighties, and included the massive hit songs; 'The Look Of Love', 'Poison Arrow', 'All Of My Heart' & 'Tears Are Not Enough'. Other hit singles include 'When Smokey Sings' 'How To Be A Millionaire & 'The Night You Murdered Love'. ABC continue to tour worldwide. Whether performing live with a band or an orchestra, Martin Fry is the consummate showman.

T’Pau
Fronted by Carol Decker who had various NO1 hits in the 80s including ‘Heart & Soul’, ‘Valentine’ and was also the first act to have both a number 1 album and single with ‘China in your Hand’.

Go West
Formed in 1982 by Peter Cox and Richard Drummie, Go West’s debut song ‘We Close Our Eyes’ reached No.4 in the UK Charts and was a top ten hit in the USA. They also sold 10 million copies of ‘The King of Wishful Thinking’ that was the sound track of the blockbuster hit ‘Pretty Women’.

Toyah
In a career spanning over 30 years Toyah has had 13 top 40 hits and has recorded 20 albums. In 1982 after her European tour, Toyah was voted the best Female Singer at the Rock & Pop Awards.
