A 30 year-old man has been arrested over a robbery in Chelmsford where a taxi driver was stabbed in the arm.
Police were called to Oliver Way at around 7.50pm on Wednesday, 3 February.
Essex Police said: "The victim had been stabbed with an unknown object in Oliver Way.
"The driver, a man aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital with an injury to his right shoulder. He needed stitches for the wound and is now recovering at home.
"A 30-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been released on bail until April 9, pending further enquiries".
