Basildon: Man Arrested Over Nightclub Rape

A 19 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman at a nightclub in Basildon.

The woman says she was attacked inside Liquid at the Festival Leisure Park in the early hours of Sunday, 30 June. 

The teenager, who is from Broxbourne, was arrested at around 6.45pm yesterday. 

He is currently being held in custody and questioned by police.
