Basildon:Two Men Attacked In Car Park
Two men were assaulted in the early hours of Saturday morning at Festival Leisure Park's main car park.
A 24 year old from the Rayleigh area was hit with a glass bottle and was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries before being discharged.
Another 24 year old from Southend was punched and kicked in the face. He is currently in a stable condition in hospital with serious injuries.
Investigating Officer, PC Emily Lurton, said: "These two men had been at McDonalds just minutes before they were attacked.
"One of them had been involved in an argument with a woman at the restaurant so we're not sure if this may have triggered the two assaults.
"The two male victims were set upon by two different men and we're not sure if they are in any way linked to this woman."
Police are now looking through CCTV to see whether the assault was captured on camera.
Anyone with information in connection with these two assaults are urged to contact Basildon police station on 101.
