While many people will be getting an extra day off work thanks to the Royal Wedding - spare a thought for those who won't be!

Most councils in Essex say bin collections will run as normal on April 29th despite the bank holiday.

They say it's to reduce disruption for residents because of the Easter Holidays and the May Day bank holiday.

Five councils here have told Heart they won't be out collecting refuse on the day of the Royal Wedding.

They include Chelmsford, Southend, Thurrock, Epping and Uttlesford.
