Essex police have released an efit of a man they would like to speak to following an attempted burglary on a house in Braintree.

The unidentified man caused £200 of damage when he tried to get into the property in Queens Road at around 8pm on Tuesday March 6th by forcing a rear window open.

However he wasn't able to get in and nothing was stolen and he ran off towards Dukes Road.

Police say the suspect is described as being around 6 feet tall, with short blond hair, wearing a black top.

They want anyone with information about this crime or who recognises the man in the efit to contact CID at Chelmsford, where the investigating officer is Dc Chris Leslie, on 101, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
