Brentwood: Biker Injured In Hit And Run

A motorcyclist has been injured following a hit and run on the A127 near Brentwood.

It happened on the Southendbound section, shortly after the junction with the M25, on Wednesday morning (11 September).

A male ride from Basildon suffered a fractured ankle and broken finger after he was struck by a black BMW car which then drove off.

He was taken to Basildon hospital and released later the same day.

Police are seeking witnesses to the collision or who saw the BMW making off following the collision to assist them in locating the driver.

It is believed the BMW has been damaged and any garages who have received requests to repairs to a BMW are asked to consider whether this car could have been involved in this incident.
