Cannabis Worth £1.5m Found In Waltham Abbey

Cannabis plants worth an estimated £1.5 million have been seized during a police raid at an industrial unit in Waltham Abbey.

Officers discovered 1,700 mature plants, 2,000 seedlings and hydroponic equipment on the Meridian Business Park on Fleming Road just after midday yesterday.

Two men - 20 year-old Romario Lila and 25 year-old Shkelzen Kojku, both of no fixed address - have been charged with producing cannabis.

They are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court today.
