A 15 year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in Chelmsford.
Chelmsford: Police Car Fire After Crash
A police car has caught fire after colliding with a traffic island in Chelmsford.
It happened on Main Road in the Broomfield area of the City at around 9.30pm last night (Friday, July 20) near the junction with Ridley Road.
It was responding to an incident at the time and the road was closed until around 2am.
Two male constables in the car were taken to Broomfield Hospital for treatment. The passenger was later discharged but the driver was kept in overnight as a precaution.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at the Dunmow road policing unit on 101.
