Crime Scene Police Tape

Police investigating the murder of a man in Chelmsford have cordoned off a skate park in the city.

Officers are carrying out forensic examinations at the site in Central Park.

It follows the discovery of a man who had suffered multiple injuries in a flat on Broomfield Road, near Chelmsford train station at around 8.30am yesterday.

Railway Street and two car parks were sealed off so police could investigated and they remain closed to pedestrians and vehicles.

A 29 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and police are continuing to question him.
