Chelmsford: Tributes Paid To Crash Victim

Kailen Spreadbury has been described as a "proud father".

The family of a man who died in a crash in Great Baddow at the weekend say he was "loved by all".

20 year-old Kailen Spreadbury from Chelmsford died when two cars collided on the southbound carriageway of the A1114 just before 1pm on Saturday. 

Three other people were also seriously injured. 

The former Baddow Hall School pupil has been described as a "gifted sportsman excelling at football, golf and tennis". 

His father Warren said: "He wasn't only my son, he was my best mate also. He was proud to be a father to his 9-month-old son, and was devoted to his partner." 

His mother Karen said: "He was hated by none, he was loved by all, and envied by a few, and will be remembered for being awesome!" 

He also leaves a brother and sister.
