Clacton: Armed Bank Robbery

Two men, one armed with a gun, have robbed a bank in Clacton.

They went into the NatWest on North Road at around 2.20pm this afternoon (Friday, December 7) and demanded money.

Essex Police say one man had a black gun, described as looking like a pistol, while the other had a black bin liner and a cardboard tube.

The man with the gun is described as "white, middle aged, of stocky build, and wore a black hat and black scarf over his face".

The other man is described as "younger, and wore a white hooded top". Officers say they do not yet know how much money was stolen.
