Colchester Man Dies In Motorbike Crash
A man from Colchester has died after a motorbike crash in St Osyth.
The 34 year-old was a pillion passenger when the crash happened on Beach Road between St Osyth and the Seawick holiday park just before 7pm yesterday.
Essex Police said: "Officers and the ambulance service attended and two men were taken to hospital. A short time later a man, believed to be the passenger, sadly died.
"The rider of the bike, a 36-year-old man from Colchester remains in hospital with serious injuries.
"The road was closed for around five hours to allow forensic collision work to be carried out.
"Anyone who saw the collision is asked to contact the serious collision investigation unit at Boreham on 101."
