There are concerns for a 50 year-old man from Loughton who has gone missing from his home.
Peter Lascaris, from Collard Avenue, was reported missing on Friday evening after no-one had had contact with him since the morning of Monday, 14 December.
Essex Police said: "He has never gone missing before and his disappearance is out of character.
"He is also a diabetic and his family do not believe he has his medication with him. Police are concerned for his welfare.
"He does not have a car and his bike, which he normally uses to travel around, is at home.
"Peter is 6ft tall, of slim build and usually wears jeans and a jumper.
"Anyone who has seen him is urged to contact Loughton Police Station on 101".
