Earls Colne: Toddler Seriously Injured In Crash
A 15-month-old has received serious injuries following an accident in Earls Colne.
She had to be cut free from a car and it collided with a lorry on the B1024 Coggeshall Road at around 7:15pm last night (Thursday September 6th).
A man and a six-year-old girl also received minor injuries.
The 15-month-old was taken to the Royal London Hospital by land ambulance and is currently in a stable condition.
All three were in the Vauxhall and are local to the area.
The road was closed until around 2am while initial investigations were carried out.
A 43-year-old man from Southend was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and released on bail pending further enquiries until November 12.

A teacher, who worked in Chelmsford, has been charged with multiple offences relating to children.
