An efit has been released of a man wanted over a burglary in Leigh where items worth £1,000 were stolen.

Two men broke into a house just off Stonehill Road at around 2pm on Wednesday, 22 October.

Essex Police said: "The men are described as white and aged in their 20s. Officers have issued an Efit of one of the men. He is thought to have light, ginger coloured hair, was of medium build and was wearing a grey jumper. The other man was wearing a navy blue hooded top.

"Anybody who recognises the man or who knows anything about the burglary is asked to contact Dc Rory Scarlett at Southend Police on 101.
