Efit Released After Harlow Attempted Rape

Harlow attempted rape efit

Police investigating the attempted rape of a woman in Harlow have released an efit of the suspected attacker.

The victim, a 65 year-old woman from the town was walking along Southern Way at around 6am on Sunday when a man approached her and asked for a cigarette.

He then pushed her into some nearby bushes and attacked her.

He is described as white, aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 4-5ins tall, of small to medium build, with short dark hair and was wearing a blue checked shirt and light trousers.

Police are also continuing to look for a man the woman spoke to before she was attacked. They also believe a grey or silver Ford vehicle drove past when the incident occurred.
