Efit Released After Woman Shot In Eye In Basildon

Police have released an efit of a man they want to speak to after a woman was shot in the eye with an airgun in Basildon.

The woman, in her 50s, was flown to hospital with serious eye injuries after it happened last Wednesday morning (29th July) inside a house in Chesham Drive.

She has since had surgery for life changing eye injuries.

Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the man before or after the time of the incident, which happened just after 8am.

He's described as being between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build with short dark brown hair.

He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark trousers or jeans.
