Essex: Internship Appeal For CRUK

Essex people are being offered the chance to work on Cancer Research UK's Race for Life events in the county.

The charity is starting recruitment for its Regional Marketing Internship scheme, which offers individuals the chance for successful candidates working alongside professional marketing managers to promote Race for Life events in Essex.
 
Successful applicants for this unsalaried internship will get the chance to gain hands-on experience in event marketing, working with people from all walks of life while contributing to a worthwhile cause.

Gemma Davies, Cancer Research UK Area Marketing Manager for the East, said: "Applying for Cancer Research UK’s Regional Marketing Internship scheme is a really smart move for anyone who wants to work in event marketing.
 
"Over a twelve week period, starting in January, successful candidates gain invaluable experience, will be called upon for all manner of exciting and demanding tasks, from co-ordinating and delivering promotional activity, to managing teams of dedicated volunteers; to pitching one of our events to a local company.

The closing date for applications is Friday 23rd November 2012.
