Essex: Man Seriously Ill After A12 Crash

A motorcyclist has suffered life threatening injuries after he lost control of his bike on the A12.

It happened northbound at junction 30 for Stratford St Mary at about 7.25pm last night (Monday 26 August).

It's thought the man, who is in his 60s and from Hornchurch, lost control of his Suzuki motorbike and collided with the central reservation.

He has been taken to Colchester General Hospital with life threatening injuries.
