Essex Police charge man with murder

Essex Police investigating the death of a woman in Hatfield Heath have now charged a man.

Officers were called to an address in Matching Road at about 11.15am on Friday where the body of the 66-year-old woman was found with stab wounds.

Ronald Edwards was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene. The 65 year old from Matching Road, has been charged with the murder of Sylvia Rowley-Bailey and is due at Harlow Magistrates Court on Monday, June 14th.

Detectives are continuing to make enquiries within the local community. They want to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time or anyone who may have other information.
