Police say they are worried about the safety of a 14-year-old boy who's gone missing in Essex.

Kai Jager went missing from foster care in Takeley last month.

He was found in Southend earlier this month but made off from social workers last Tuesday.

Kai is 5'6", of a small build, with short, dark brown hair and he sometimes speaks with a Liverpudlian accent.

A police spokesperson said: "Whilst Kai is often described as being 'worldly wise' his age means that he is still considered vulnerable and could come to harm."

Anyone with information is asked to call police at Rayleigh on 101 or 0300 333 4444.
