First Ever Colchester Half Marathon

A thousand runners will be taking part in the town's new race on Sunday.
The event has already raised thousands of pounds for the charity, Headway through the ticket price.
Most of the runners are also from the Colchester area and are raising money through race sponsorship.
The event starts from the Weston Homes Community Stadium close to the A12 at 11am.
