Four Charged Over Colchester Pensioner Stabbing

Three men and a teenage girl have been charged over the stabbing of a 70 year-old man in Colchester.

The pensioner was attacked in the back garden of his house on Hythe Hull at around 5.40pm on Tuesday, 10 November.

He suffered injuries to his face, chest and back.

Essex Police said: "Ryan Hynes, 20, of Long Road, Lawford, has been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

"Flash Ashley Day, 45, of Rose Allen Avenue, Colchester; Scott Moffat, 49, of Colchester Road, Manningtree; and a 16-year-old girl from Colchester were all charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

"They have been remanded in custody to appear at Chelsmford Magistrates' Court on Saturday March 5".
