Harlow: CCTV Released Of Attack Suspects

CCTV images have been released of two young men who attacked a 57-year-old man in Harlow town centre, leaving him with a fractured jaw.

The assault happened at around 11.30pm in Broad Walk, close to the Money Shop, on Sunday 30 December 2012.

The man was punched and then kicked after he fell to the floor.

Essex PoliceDC Georgette Beckett said: "This was a particularly nasty assault by two young men on a much older victim. We have carried out extensive enquiries to try and identify the two suspects but so far we do not have any names.

"We are issuing CCTV stills of the two men running away from the scene and in one picture you can see the clothing that one of the suspects is wearing. I feel certain that people who know this man closely will recognise him and I would urge them to tell me who he is.

"A 57-year-old man was left with a serious facial injury and his attackers should not go unpunished. If anyone knows who this individual is I would ask them to get in contact."

Anyone with information can call DC Beckett at Essex Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
