Lorry Driver Dies In M25 Crash

A lorry driver has died after his vehicle hit a bridge pillar on the M25 near Harlow and overturned.

It happened at Junction 27 at around 11.45pm yesterday.

Essex Police said: "A lorry overturned shortly before 11.45pm last night (Sunday, January 10). It was in collision with a pillar on a road bridge. The driver sadly died at the scene.

"Both slip roads from the M25 to the M11 have been closed whilst forensic investigations and recovery of the vehicle and its load take place.

"Motorists are thanked for their patience. The road closures are likely to remain in place until at least 2pm today (Monday, January 11)".
