Man Admits Causing Serious Injury In Loughton

A man has admitted seriously injuring another man during an attack in Loughton.

A 24 year-old suffered "life-changing injuries" on Loughton High Road at around 11.30pm on Friday, 6 November 2015.

Essex Police said: "Paul Saunders, 30 of Biggin Lane, Grays, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today, Tuesday, May 3, to answer a charge of attempted murder.

"Saunders entered a guilty plea to a section 18 GBH charge which was accepted and sentencing was adjourned until the week commencing May 23".
