Man Hit By Bus In Colchester Dies In Hospital
A man who was hit by a bus in Colchester last week has died in hospital.
The collision happened on Hythe Hill at around 10am on Wednesday (6 April).
The 39 year-old, who was from Frinton, was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, but died there as a result of his injuries on Friday (8 April).
Essex Police said: "The bus, the No 76 operated by First Buses, was carrying a small amount of passengers at the time of the collision.
"Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and any passengers who have not yet spoken to police are asked to get in touch.
"Please call the Serious Collision Unit on Essex Police 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org".
