Man Left With Broken Jaw In Colchester Assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on two men in Colchester.

The victims were assaulted by a man and a woman following a verbal altercation in Winnock Road, near to the junction with Kendall Road.

It happened at around 1am on Sunday, July 19.

One victim sustained a broken jaw which required surgery and the other lost two teeth.

The male suspect is described as white, aged between 20 and 25, around 6ft tall and has shaved hair.

The woman is white and aged between 20 and 25.

Enquiries are ongoing and witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Dc Hannah Richardson at Colchester Police Station 101.
