Man Seriously Injured In Crash Near Brentwood Dies

A man who was seriously injured in a crash near Brentwood a fortnight ago, has died in hospital.

The man was the driver of a Renault Scenic which collided with a MAN truck on Warley Street in Great Warley, near the A127 junction at around 6.50am on Wedneday, 24 February.

Essex Police said: "The Renault was travelling south towards Ockendon and the truck was travelling in the opposite direction.

"The car driver, a man aged 36 from the Southend area, suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the Royal London Hospital, where he sadly died last week.

"Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are particularly keen to trace a moped rider, who stopped at the scene but unfortunately left before officers arrived.

"He had been travelling in the direction of Ockendon".
