Pitsea: Man Robbed In Machete Attack

A man has been robbed by two men with a machete in Pitsea.

The 45 year old victim was walking along Parkside on Monday lunchtime (15 July) when he was appraoched by two men in a van who asked him for money.

They then produced the machete and stole his fishing equipment.

One of the suspects is described as of mixed heritage, aged 20 to 40, and of muscular build.

He had short close-shaved black hair with patterns and writing shaved into it.

Investigating officer Dc Angela Tappin said: "The victim was uninjured but left badly shaken by his ordeal. I am hoping that in releasing this Efit someone may recognise the man in the picture and help us with our enquiries."
