Police trying to find owners of 'stolen' property

Essex Police are asking victims of burglary in the Pitsea area to come and view seized item they suspect to be stolen.

Victims are invited to Basildon police station between 9am and 4pm on Tuesday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 11, where they can view all of the 42 items.

DI Joel Henderson said: “There is a large amount of jewellery, costume jewellery, keys and handbags that we have recovered and suspect to be stolen, and some of it is quite distinctive. We want to find out if the pieces are stolen and reunite them with their owners, so would ask victims of burglary to come forward.”
