Quadbiker Seriously Injured After Chigwell Crash

A quadbike rider is in a critical condition in hospital after suffering serious injuries during a crash in Chigwell.

He collided with a van and and a car after losing control of the vehicle on Manor Road at around 12.20pm yesterday.

The man, who is in his 30s and from the area, was flown to hospital in London. The driver of the car was treated for shock and minor injuries but the van driver was not injured.

Part of the road was closed until 7.15pm while the vehicles were recovered and police investigated.
