Rayleigh: Man Seriously Hurt After Crash
A man has suffered serious injuries following a crash in Rayleigh.
The 43-year-old from the Ashingdon area was driving a silver Audi A3 in Eastwood Road at about 10.30 yesterday (Friday 21 March) when the collision happened at the roundabout junction with Websters Way.
He has been taken to a hospital where he is receiving treatment.
No other people were injured and the road was closed for around three hours whilst officers carried out their investigations.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about the collision or the circumstances leading up to it.
