Stansted: Girl Dies After Hit By Car
A teenage girl has died after she was hit by a car in Stansted Mountifichet.
Police believe she had just got off a bus and was attempting to cross Cambridge Road when he was hit by a red Suzuki car after 4.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 16 October).
Ambulance paramedics and police attended at the scene and the she was taken to hospital where she died.
Police believe the girl to be 13-year-old Chiara Sanfilippo of Stansted Mountfitchet.
The road was closed until about 7.15pm while police collision investigators carried out initial enquiries.
