Teen Critical After Motorbike Crash In Grays

A 17 year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash involving an off-road motorbike in Grays.

Police were called to King Edward Drive at around 6.10pm on Tuesday (12 April).

Essex Police said: "The rider, a 17-year-old boy from the Grays area, was taken to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance with head injuries.

"He is currently in a critical condition.

"The pillion passenger, a 16-year-old boy also from the Grays area, was taken to Basildon Hospital with a fractured knee.

"Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the motorcycle being ridden in the area or has dash cam footage.
