A teenage boy has been robbed by two men carrying small guns, similar to BB guns, in a park in Chelmsford.

Police say it happened at around 5.30pm on Sunday (25th May) in Admirals Park.

The 15-year-old was along when two men approached him and demanded his phone and cash.

The suspects are described as a both black, early to late teens; one wearing black tracksuit trousers with two white stripes on the leg and a green hoodie pullover. He was about 6ft tall, athletic, muscular build and was wearing gloves and a balaclava.

The other suspect was wearing a black hoodie and mid blue baggy jeans.

Investigating Officer Dc Michelle Mauger said: "The park is usually a busy place and it was still light outside so I would urge anyone who saw the suspects before or after the incident or anyone with any information to contact me at Chelmsford CID on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
