Tributes To Manningtree Crash Victim
Tributes have been paid to a 20 year-old man who died in a crash involving a car and a tipper lorry in Manningtree last week.
It happened on the B1035 Clacton Road in Horsley Cross at 7.30am on Thursday (30 June) and the car had caught fire.
Jamie Johns, from Clacton, who was driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, his family said: "Our darling son Jamie tragically passed away on Thursday 30th June 2016, at such a young age of 20.
"He was a caring, loving and thoughtful young man who had a heart of gold.
"He will be deeply missed by his family, fiancé, friends and all who knew him.
"His passion was for motorbikes, riding them and he had his dream job of working in the industry.
"He loved life and enhanced so many people's lives with his warm personality and customary smile".
A man has been jailed for four years and banned from driving for five years after a fatal crash in Weeley Heath.
