Two men have been arrested after a teenager was found seriously injured having fallen from a block of flats in Southend.
The 17 year-old was discovered on the first floor canopy of the building at around 8.55pm on Sunday, 1 November.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be serious but not life-threatening.
Essex Police said he had suffered "leg and facial injuries consistent with falling from a height and continues to receive hospital treatment".
A 31 year-old man and a 48 year-old man have been arrested over the incident.
Chief Inspector Simon Anslow, Southend District Commander who is leading the investigation, said: "We are investigating the circumstances of how he came to fall and have been carrying out a forensic examination of the scene and house to house enquiries.
"I know that local residents are concerned about the police activity in the building so I urge them to support our investigation by coming forward with any information they may have, no matter how insignificant it may seem."
