Two Arrested Over Firearms Incident In Westcliff

Two people have been arrested after reports of someone with a gun in Westcliff.

Police were called to Kent Elms Close at around 12.10pm on Wednesday.
 
A 37 year-old man from Southend and a 43 year-old woman from Westcliff have now been released on bail until December.
 
Officers now want to contact a person who made the original call but did not leave contact details and any other people who were in the area at the time.
