Wivenhoe Murder Victim Identified
Police investigating the murder of a man in Wivenhoe have provisionally identified the victim as 35 year-old Paul Olney.
A man was found dead at a property on Denham Close at around 3.50pm yesterday.
A postmortem examination is due to take place today.
Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Jennings said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have known Paul Olney who might be able to assist us with our enquiries".
The two men aged 30 and 37, and both from Colchester, arrested on suspicion of murder are still being questioned.
Officers are asking anybody with any information or anybody who witnessed anything suspicious in the Denham Close area yesterday is asked to contact Essex Police on 101 or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
