Woman Arrested After Triple Fatal Braintree Crash

A 23 year old woman has been arrested following a crash in Braintree that killed three men.

It happened on Gosfield Road at around 4.50pm back on Sunday, December 7.

The driver of a blue Ford Fiesta - 30 year old David Bradley from the town, died as a result.

The driver of a blue VW polo - 21 year old Corran Powell, from Gosfield, also died from his injuries, along with his passenger 18 year old James Simmons, who was also from Braintree.

The woman, from Beccles in Suffolk, was being questioned on suspicion of a number of offences including causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, causing death by driving whilst disqualified and uninsured and supply of a controlled drug.

She has been released on bail pending further police enquiries until Saturday, August 15.
