But what’s the woman behind the mic really like? We caught up with her to find out!

Where in Essex is home?

Stansted Mountfitchet at the moment with my man.

(My parents are from Great Dunmow and I’ve lived in Leigh-On –Sea, Witham, Writtle, Colchester, Chelmsford and Braintree, so you could say anywhere in Essex really!)

What are your three favourite Essex haunts?

I love a summers evening in the old town of Leigh. There’s always a good holiday feel to the place. There’s the waterfront, great pubs and good shops!

Stansted Mountfitchet. You’ve great links to London, but within a 5 minute walk your right in the middle of the countryside. Really nice if you head across the fields to Clavering.

Dedham – The place by the river  where you can hire rowing boats (You can go and see where Constable and Turner painted the Hay Wain). Also close to the shops of Colchester for a girlie spending spree.

Which celebrity would you have play you in a film of your life?

Joanna Lumley (Just because I admire her so much)

What is your single worst fear?

Getting fat (love handles), old and the cellulite creeping in. No thanks!

If you were completely fearless what would you do?

Skydive… I’m afraid of heights though. I won’t even go up a ladder so I’d say the chances of me ever doing a jump are hmmmmm NIL!!!

Do you have any phobias?

Well I don’t like seeing blood. If you get a paper cut I’ll be on the floor.  You will need to get some smelling salts to bring me round (I know this from many years ago at uni when I got my belly button pierced. Ahhh the memories.. YUK)

What was the worst job you've ever had?

Paper round. There were too many hills involved (Or so I thought... in Great Dunmow..?). I asked my dad to help and then quit after a day.

Your most embarrassing moment?

There’s so many I’m finding hard to live with the shame.

I’m too embarrassed to tell you now so maybe you can ask me if you ever call the station on a Saturday morning between 8 and 12. I’ll tell you I promise!

What's the best piece of advice anyone's ever given you?

‘If you have nothing to say shut up’

And ‘Anything is possible’. Sounds cheesy but I really believe that!

Your favourite insult?

Have you ever seen Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood? Ohh you have to watch it. Get it out at the weekend and laugh you’re head off. He is the true master of insults!

Any nicknames?

Johnson, cheeky, bird (Well we are in Essex)

The best gig you ever went to?

V Festival right here in Chelmsford. For that reason! 2009 was amazing as it was so hot. I remember sitting on the grass at the Pimms tent listening to the music with my best mate Meegs.

Little did I know at the time the man I would meet a few months later was standing right next to us!

If you could have one super power what would it be?

To fly. Then I could squeeze in a few more holidays to the sun... Maldives anyone? I’ll carry you (If you’re not too heavy – I’m only small)

Your favourite quote?

‘Happiness will never really come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have’

The first record you ever bought?

Shakin Stevens – Rockin around the Christmas tree

The Bangles – Walk like an Egyptian

Your favourite place to go on holiday?

Zanzibar, Maldives, Cairo – anywhere in Egypt where I can find Nemo.

I love skiing to but I’m pretty rubbish and it gets embarrassing falling over (Not to mention the bruises on my bum – can’t sit down for days)

What are your hobbies?

Yep you’ve probably already guessed;

Holidays in the sun, skiing, eating Chinese (Crispy aromatic duck pancakes please – Yum. Must get those tonight…) Reading and going to the cinema.

Can’t wait to see the new Leonardo DiCaprio film – Inception (Even those he annoys me a bit.. don’t know why) It can’t be as good as any of the Twilight films if you ask me. I get really silly over those… ROBERT PATTINSON

Robert Pattinson or Enrique. Now that would have been a good question!!!

Your top five songs?

Enrique – I Like it (Just because he is gorgeous and the only man I would leave my boyfriend for)

Sting – Fields of Gold (The most talented man on the planet)

Athelete – Wires (Didn’t realise what this was about at first but such a good tune)

Justin Timberlake and Timbaland – Carry Out (Something to dance around the living room too – obviously with the curtains SHUT)

Sade – No Ordinary Love (As it’s from one of my favourite girlie films)
