RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition ) apply to ‘Colourful Holidays with Cosmos’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 23rd April to Friday 27th April 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart Essex.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 01245 525252 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.
4. One entrant will be selected at random to come to air and play.
5. We will ask 3 colour related questions.
6. These could be in the form of a standard question, a question about a film clip or a song.
7. If the caller answers the question correctly they will stay on for the next question. If they answer the last question of the day correctly they will stay onto the next day of the competition.
8. If they answer a question incorrectly we will select another caller at random to play.
9. Whoever answers the final question on Friday correctly will win.
10. They will receive a confirmation letter in the post within 28 days of the competition closing date.
Eligibility:
11. All entrants must be 18 or over and hold a valid UK passport.
12. Winners and any accompanying persons must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the return date for the holiday. Winners and any accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and any other documentation required for entering and staying in the destination country. The Radio Station is not liable for any costs associated with obtaining any such visas, permissions of documentation. Should the winner not be able to obtain the relevant permissions and visas to travel, the Radio Station reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
13. Multiple entries are permitted – you can enter as many times as you like.
Prize:
14. The winners will receive a family holiday for 2 adults and 2 children to Florida including:
- Four return flights from London Gatwick to Sanford Orlando International Airport.
- Seven night’s accommodation at the four diamond rated Liki Tiki Village Resort in Kissimmee, on a self catering basis for a family of four (two adults and two children, up to the age of 12) sharing a deluxe 2 bedroom apartment.
- Three Park Bonus Tickets, for Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida and Wet ‘n Wild for Winner and up to three (3) Guests.
Florida Holiday Terms & Conditions
1. The prize is valid for travel until 3rd November 2012, excluding travel between 2nd – 14th July 2012.
2. The winner must be aged 18 years or over
3. Flights and accommodation are subject to limited availability and may not be available on all dates during this period. The prize cannot be taken during Public Holidays or Thanks Giving
4. The prize includes four return flights from London Gatwick to Sanford Orlando International Airport and seven night’s accommodation at the four diamond rated Liki Tiki Village Resort in Kissimmee, on a self catering basis for a family of four (two adults and two children, up to the age of 12) sharing a deluxe 2 bedroom apartment.
5. Airport taxes and one piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs per person, are included in the prize.
6. The prize will include 3 Park Bonus Tickets, for Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida and Wet ‘n Wild for Winner and up to three (3) Guests. If Winner elects to partake in any or all portions of his/her Prize with fewer than thee (3) guests or no Guest, the Prize will be awarded to Winner and each participating Guest and any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption.
7. Specific travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates, and other prize and travel restrictions. Trip must be completed before 3rd November 2012 or Prize will be forfeited. Reservations are subject to availability. Travel dates are subject to Prize Provider and Sponsor approval. ARV of Prize may vary depending upon the points of departure, ground transportation, and/or airline fare fluctuations; any difference between stated ARV and final ARV of Prize will not be awarded. Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, insurance, meals, unspecified ground transportation, phone calls, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, gasoline, etc.) are included in the Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of Winner. Winner is responsible for any air travel taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, and security charges. Once issued, tickets are non-transferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. All Prize elements must be redeemed at the same time.
8. Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, pre-allocated seats and the carriage of sports equipment).
9. Spending money, transfers to and from airports (in the UK and in resort) and hotel charges beyond the self catering accommodation are the responsibility of the winners.
10. Travel insurance is not included in the prize.
11. The prize is non-transferable and is to be used by the registered prize winner.
12. The holiday may not be re-presented as a prize for any other prize draw or other similar event and no cash alternative is available.
