RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/ apply to ‘Martin and Su’s Secret City Breaks’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 21st to Friday 25th May 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart Essex.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 01245 525252 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.
4. Each day during breakfast we will invite our listeners to enter our competition ‘Martin and Su’s Secret City Breaks’.
5. We will select an entrant at random to come to air and play the competition.
6. We will play out a pre-produced audio clip with clues to the destination of the day.
7. The entrant will have to identify that day’s secret city to win a weekend break to that destination from the clues given.
8. If they answer correctly they will win the prize.
9. If they answer incorrectly we will select a second caller at random to come to air and play.
10. If the second caller correctly identifies the destination they will win the prize.
11. If the second caller answers incorrectly we will select a third caller at random to come to air and play.
12. If the third caller correctly identifies the destination they will win the prize.
13. If the third caller answers incorrectly we will finish the competition for the day with no winners.
14. The winner will be notified on air and they will receive a confirmation letter through the post within 28 days of the competition close date.
Eligibility:
15. Entrants must be 18 or over.
16. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.
17. Winners and any accompanying persons must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the return date for the holiday. Winners and any accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and any other documentation required for entering and staying in the destination country. The Radio Station is not liable for any costs associated with obtaining any such visas, permissions of documentation. Should the winner not be able to obtain the relevant permissions and visas to travel, the Radio Station reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
Prize:
18. The winner will receive a weekend break to the daily destination.
19. The winner will also receive a cheque for £250 to go towards their holiday.
20. Barcelona City Break Prize: 1 x 2 night weekend break for 2 people to Barcelona, including two return flights from Gatwick airport to Barcelona and two nights accommodation at the four star rated Barceló Raval hotel, on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room. One piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs, is included per person. Transfers are not included in the prize. Travel insurance provided by Global.
21. Milan City Break Prize: 1 x 2 night weekend break for 2 people to Milan in Italy, including two return flights from Gatwick airport to Milan and two nights accommodation at the four star rated Ramada Plaza Milano hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room. One piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs, is included per person. Transfers are not included in the prize. Travel insurance provided by Global.
22. Venice City Break Prize: 1 x 2 night weekend break for 2 people to Venice in Italy, including two return flights from Gatwick airport to Venice and two nights accommodation at the four star rated Hotel Bonvecchiati in Venice on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a superior double room. One piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs, is included per person. Transfers are not included in the prize. Travel insurance provided by Global.
23. Rome City Break Prize: 1 x 2 night weekend break for 2 people to Rome in Italy, including two return flights from London Luton airport to Rome and two nights accommodation at the four star rated Barceló Aran Mantegna, on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room. One piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs, is included per person. Transfers are not included in the prize. Travel insurance provided by Global.
24. Dubrovnik City Break Prize: 1 x 3 night weekend break for 2 people to Dubrovnik in Croatia, including two return flights from Gatwick airport to Dubrovnik and three nights accommodation at the four diamond rated Grand Park Hotel, on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room. One piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs, is included per person. Transfers are not included in the prize. Travel insurance provided by Global.
Barcelona Weekend Break Terms & Conditions
- The prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative
- The prize is valid for travel until 31st December 2012, subject to availability and excluding peak periods such as Christmas, New Year, school holidays and Bank Holidays
- The prize includes two nights accommodation at the four star rated Barceló Raval hotel, on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room.
- The prize also includes two return flights with Monarch to Barcelona from Gatwick airport
- Airport taxes and the carriage of one piece of hold baggage per person are included in the prize
- Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, onboard meals and drinks, seat allocations and the carriage of sports equipment)
- Spending money, transfers to and from airports (in the UK and in resort) and hotel charges beyond the accommodation (such as meals and drinks other than those included in the bed and breakfast offering) are the responsibility of the winners
Milan Weekend Break Terms & Conditions
- The prize is valid for travel until 31st December 2012, subject to availability and excluding peak periods such as Christmas, New Year, school holidays and Bank Holidays
- The prize includes two nights accommodation at the four star rated Ramada Plaza Milano hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room.
- The prize also includes two return flights with Monarch to Milan from Gatwick airport
- Airport taxes and the carriage of one piece of hold baggage per person are included in the prize
- Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, onboard meals and drinks, seat allocations and the carriage of sports equipment)

Venice Weekend Break Terms & Conditions
- The prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative
- The prize is valid for travel until 31st March 2013, subject to availability. The prize cannot be redeemed any Saturday night in September and October 2012, 30th & 31st December 2012, Carnival Week (1st – 12th February 2013) or during Easter
- The prize includes two nights accommodation at the four star rated Hotel Bonvecchiati on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a superior double room.
- The prize also includes two return flights with Monarch to Venice from Gatwick airport
- Airport taxes and the carriage of one piece of hold baggage per person are included in the prize
- Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, onboard meals and drinks, seat allocations and the carriage of sports equipment)
- Spending money, transfers to and from airports (in the UK and in resort) and hotel charges beyond the accommodation (such as meals and drinks other than those included in the bed and breakfast offering) are the responsibility of the winners

- Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, onboard meals and drinks, seat allocations and the carriage of sports equipment)
- Spending money, transfers to and from airports (in the UK and in resort) and hotel charges beyond the accommodation (such as meals and drinks other than those included in the bed and breakfast offering) are the responsibility of the winners
Dubrovnik Weekend Break Terms & Conditions
- The prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative
- The prize is valid for travel from 6th – 9th October ONLY
- The prize includes three nights accommodation at the four diamond rated Hotel Grand Park, on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room.
- The prize also includes two return flights with Monarch to Dubrovnik from Gatwick airport
- Airport taxes and the carriage of one piece of hold baggage per person are included in the prize
- Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, onboard meals and drinks, seat allocations and the carriage of sports equipment)
- Spending money, transfers to and from airports (in the UK and in resort) and hotel charges beyond the accommodation (such as meals and drinks other than those included in the bed and breakfast offering) are the responsibility of the winners
