We've teamed up with the Essex Air Ambulance to encourage you to 'Go Yellow' again this September and you could win a Digital Camcorder!

'Go Yellow' is all about raising much needed funds for the county's life-saving helicopter during National Air Ambulance Week which runs from Monday 26th September to Sunday 2nd October 2011.

You could simply wear a yellow t-shirt and donate £1 or make a collection in your office.

How about getting sponsored to dress up as a Banana or sit in a bath of cold custard and as an incentive to really 'Go Yellow' we're giving you the chance to win a Digital Camcorder to record all your yellow antics!

Loads of local schools, businesses, community groups, clubs and individuals are going to 'Go Yellow' and donating £1 per person on a day during that week. It's a great way to show support for the Air Ambulance and there's lots of ways you can 'Go Yellow': 

• Dress in  yellow and donate £1 per person
• Hold a raffle with all yellow prizes ...
• Make and sell cup cakes iced in yellow
• Get sponsored to dress as a banana
• Hold a themed event such as a yellow Cocktail Party
• Decorate your classroom or office in yellow ...

The Essex Air Ambulance carries a highly skilled crew of Doctors, Paramedics and life-saving equipment to a patient within the first few vital minutes of an emergency.

The Air Ambulance has flown over 11,000 missions but costs around £250,000 per month to cover all charitable costs and aircraft operation and receives no direct government or lottery funding; relying upon the generous people of Essex to keep the aircraft flying.
