What is the digital switchover?
It’s the process of switching the traditional analogue TV signal over to a digital TV signal. It affects DVD and video recorders too - after digital switchover analogue (old) DVD and video recorders will not record a programme while you watch another. The switchover is already taking place on a region-by-region basis across the UK between now and 2012.
