The following rules ("Rules") together with Global Radio's general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) which can be found here apply to the Race for Life - Disneyland Paris competition ("the Competition") which will run from May 3rd to September 25th .

The competition is open to anyone who takes part in a Cancer Research UK Race for Life event in any of the Heart Radio Station transmission areas. The Heart radio stations are - Heart Anglesey & Gwynedd, Heart Bath, Heart Bedfordshire, Heart Beds, Bucks and Herts, Heart Bristol, Heart Cambridge, Heart Cheshire & NE Wales, Heart Colchester, Heart Dorset, Heart East Midlands, Heart Essex, Heart Exeter & East Devon, Heart Gloucestershire, Heart Hampshire & West Sussex, Heart Kent, Heart London, Heart Milton Keynes, Heart Norfolk & Suffolk, Heart North Devon, Heart North Wales, Heart Northamptonshire, Heart Oxfordshire, Heart Peterborough, Heart Plymouth, Heart Reading & North Hampshire, Heart Somerset, Heart South Hams, Heart Suffolk, Heart Sussex, Heart Torbay & South Devon, Heart West Midlands, Heart Wiltshire and Heart Wirral

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

1. Details of the Competition

1.1 To enter the competition an entrant must go online to http://www.heart.co.uk/local/race-for-life/competition/ via their Race for Life email communication and register their details.

1.2 Entries open at 6am on Saturday 1st May and close at 11.59pm on Saturday 25th September

1.3 Entrants will only be eligible to enter the draw if they have

a) taken part in a Cancer Research UK event in any of the Heart transmission areas
b) raised over £200 in sponsorship money
c) sent in their sponsorship money to Cancer Research UK within 8 weeks of their Race for Life event

1.4 All entries will go into a random draw.

The selected winner as identified by Heart will be shared with Cancer Research UK to determine that they returned their sponsorship money within the 8 week period after the Race for Life event they took part in. Cancer Research UK will also ensure they raised over £200 as stated in the rules of the competition. Once these details are confirmed the winner will be notified by Heart.

If the selected winner does not meet the above criteria another winner will be selected and the same process followed to ensure they meet the terms of the competition.


2. Eligibility

2.1 Only one entry per email address will be accepted.

2.2 Entrants must aged 18 and over.

3. Prize

3.1 A two night holiday for a family of four at Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris holiday terms and conditions

The prize is for a family of four
Holiday must be taken by no later than 1st May 2011 and all date requests are subject to availability.
Accommodation is for two nights in a standard room at a Disney Hotel (excluding The Disneyland Hotel) including continental breakfast.
Tickets to both Disney Parks for the duration of your stay (subject to capacity).
Any costs incurred in addition to the prize package elements listed above (e.g. telephone charges, room service etc) are at the guests own expense.   
Travel insurance will be provided by Global Radio.
£400 to cover transportation to the park payable in cheque form
Winners are responsible for arranging own transfers and covering costs in excess of £400
Winners are responsible for their own passport and visa requirements.  
The prizewinner if under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the holiday.
There is no cash or prize alternative.
