Apprenticeship Rates Soar In Devon

The aim of National Apprenticeship Week which starts on Monday 6th February 2012 is to raise the profile amongst employers, individuals, teachers, parents and the media.

To celebrate Apprenticeship Week 2012, DCET Training will be holding half day Apprentice Electrician taster sessions for Schools, Careers Advisors and Learners.

These will take place on Wednesday 8th February at Redruth training centre, and Thursday 9th February at Exeter training centre, with morning sessions running from 9am to 12pm and afternoon sessions from 1pm to 4pm.

The sessions will include:

  • What is it like to be an electrician?
  • Practical tasks
  • Overview of the apprenticeship
  • The next steps
